Wyze is a budget tech company that makes some pretty cool, cheap products. I have a few wifi-cams and wifi-light bulbs. They started selling "iHealth No-Touch Digital Forehead Thermometer" for $50 during the COVID outbreak promising 3-5 day shipping. Cool. I ordered one April 8th, and received a tracking number April 10th. As of May 4th, it is still in pre-shipment. I opened a ticket on April 21st and got a auto-reply and no answer on ticket after that. I opened another on April 29th and also got zero help. I also filed a complaint on April 29th with Amazon payments. Nothing almost a week later. I'm going to file a charge back through my credit card company. I also posted a review on their site complaining about the lack of customer service. They deleted it and asked me to repost another review. They have enough people to moderate honest reviews but not enough to deliver their products. Do yourself a favor, don't buy anything from them. If you do, do it through Amazon and not their awful website. At this point, I'm just hoping to get my money back.
Ordered and, of course, paid for face masks. No answer to two emails via their website. Finally called and got someone in North Carolina who said they’d been delivered and caught an edge when I said we never received them. 7 weeks now

I was completely satisfied with wWyze cameras. Great product.
Then they offered Bluetooth sound reduction. Only problem, I can’t get the headset to connect to my MEE Audio device.
I’ve searched Wyze support to get help but the only thing that comes up are sales offers.
I need help with your Bluetooth headset. I don’t need to purchase anything.

I've been a supporter of Wyze from it's beginning and recommended their cameras to everyone, however upon installing their home security system and seeing how poorly it works I can no longer recommend them. I've tried to contact customer support but only get automated responses and no direct answers to my complaint which is critical for home security as the system no longer arms after a firmware update. When it says it's armed, you check the application and learn the system is in fact disarmed so you're home is NOT protected.
Loved their cameras, then they lost their way and started churning out junk instead of focusing on maintaining and supporting their key products such as the cameras and their security system. Tried to reach them and it's a nightmare, used social media and still nothing...I now pay for home monitoring on a security system that doesn't arm after their firmware update, and it's nearly impossible to get help from customer support that is apparently non-existent and merely automated...
I purchased 2 wyze doorbells. The chimes don’t work. They will not connect to system. The picture from the doorbell shows up sideways on all my Amazon shows. Support dose not exist. Stick with ring. They have a doorbell that works. Same type for only $20 more. Wyze products are cheap for a reason.
It has been incredibly frustrating and confusing to deal with WYZE. I tried to cancel my order before it was shipped but I was not able to. I received it about a month later. I still have not been able to return my product. It almost feels deliberately confusing. I would stay away from this company. It is not worth the money you think you are saving.
I ordered from Wyze's website. A few (very few, about 3 min) min later I go onto their website to cancel the order.
I follow the instructions to cancel the order. "You can cancel the order if it has not shipped yet" So I click on the order # and there is no cancel option offered.
Then i am told if there is no cancel option offered then it has already shipped. It had been 3 minutes, it most certainly HAD NOT SHIPPED.
I sent 2 emails to their non-existent customer service and in the second I said "I will cancel my charge" 1.5 hrs later I get the notice it has shipped. They don't offer a cancel function because they don't want to accept a cancelation. Instead just put you through the irritation of paying for the shipping (which was totally unnecessary as it had not shipped when i tried to cancel) I have only this problem with sleazy Chinese suppliers who, when you try to cancel the order, they claim it "Just shipped" (I had 2 of those) I will deal with Wyze the same way i deal with them
Chase Bank, cancel this credit card charge Shady. Their cameras get awful reviews and they have no employees or customer service.
I purchased the Wyze base with three additional cameras. They are garbage! The wyze CEO has this slick video talking about their products and how great they are! They will not connect to the router and if they do they will not stay connected long enough to tie-in a camera! Some more Chinese garbage! Do not purchase! This crap company does not even have a customer service phone to talk to a representative. No service all via mail and do not support their product!!@
Worst customer service out there. Doesn't matter if the product is decent (or is cheap and doesn't work) if you can't get any help with them if something happens. Spend your money elsewhere.
Sadly they have grown faster than they can provide service and products. Ordered and paid for watch November 2020 with January 2021 delivery promised. Now a week away from April and still no product. They have removed all phone numbers from their site and force customers to use terrible Q&A that will not forward you to customer service. They will be out of business within a few months.
Stay away from Wyze. Customer support is nearly non-existent. They don't read their tickets and provide canned responses from their website until you reply to the ticket repeating the information you opened the ticket with. Additionally, they will gladly take your money when they don't have inventory, and your order will sit with no updates. Trying to reach a person via chat or phone is nearly impossible. I'll be looking into a new company for my needs.
I ordered $150.10 worth of cameras on February 25th. It has been in "Pick/Pack" status for 18 days even though all items were shown as in stock. They billed my credit card right away but I can't cancel the order online because it is in the pick/pack status. Even calling them was no help. I am now going to go to my credit card company to dispute the charge and let them contact Wyze.
Update - Well a few days after posting this I got an email telling me that my order finally shipped. A few days later I finally did receive the items. I am not sure if posting this had anything to do with finally getting a response. They really do need to change their policy and not charge you until the item actually ships. I don't appreciate loaning a company my money while they take their time processing my order. Their web site indicated all items were in stock but it seems that they were short on a micro SD card which was part of one bundled kit in my order.
Something really bad is going on AT Wyze. Their support has always been poor but now it is horrendous!
I just spent the last 5 days working with Wyze phone support. Each of the first line people all agreed it was a bug. One person actually replicated the problem on their device and agreed it was not working as it should.
Today, day 5, I spoke to a supervisor. She put me on hold for multiple times to research the issue. She finally got back on the line and told me feature that wasn’t working was not suppose to work and was a future enhancement at some undetermined date. Interestingly all the other Wyze people I talked to clearly said it was a bug and the Wyze software enabled the setup of the function with no notice or warning that it would not work. It’s like putting windshield wipers on a car and then when they fail the car manufacturer telling you they really aren’t suppose to but MIGHT work SOMETIME in the future.
